The Beach House at Anse Chastanet is located on the north corner of Anse Chastanet beach where you can sit and relax, looking out over the sparkling Caribbean Sea, watching sunsets year round from your elevated brick deck in the landscaped oceanfront garden. The interior is bright and airy, bathed in warm Caribbean sunlight shining through its French doors and windows.

The interior decor of the Beach House is a celebration of Saint Lucia’s heritage which saw the island change hands between the French and the British 14 times. The island's French legacy is still evident in its Creole dialect and culture.

From the beach level next to the flower garden, you walk up a few hand-hewn stone steps, across your personal gated bridge, onto the brick pathway, with its wind sculpture and antique sundial, leading to your spacious 450 square foot covered patio. To rinse off sea salt and sand, simply dip under the outdoor shower adjacent to the brick pathway. The covered patio features tropical flowers and roses on one side and an herb garden and a water feature on the other. In addition to your ocean view loungers, the patio features a custom-built swinging day bed. There is a fire pit made from an old French estate chaudiere for those evenings when you want to enjoy the night time outdoor ambience.

Two sets of double French doors, with traditional handmade wooden shutters, swing open from your patio into your beach house tastefully decorated with antiques imported from France.

French fabrics and colors accent the interior furnishings on the quarried coral tile floors. Your sitting area is accented by a handcrafted candlelit wood and stone fireplace for romantic evenings after dinner. In the dual French windows above, you can see resort lights twinkling through the trees. A Mahogany and Peroba writing desk with full wi-fi access makes staying in touch with family and friends easy. The dining area with it's antique Louis IV French Oak buffet is lighted by a beautiful meter-long rubbed bronze chandelier hanging from one of the wood beams that cross the 16 foot/5 meter high ceiling.

Your king size bed, with its custom made mattress and proprietary 5 inch pillow top, draped in silky bamboo sheets, is flanked by twin Tiffany lamps and handcrafted fleur-de-lis artwork over the Peroba accented headboard. The massive antique four door French Oak armoir is ample for storing all your holiday clothing.

The expansive bathroom is simply stunning in a sophisticated old French country style. A separate room off the main living area, two large, rectangular white porcelain pedestal sinks with inset mirrors and glass wall sconces immediately capture your attention. An antique vanity provides a personal sitting space for the ladies. Unique coral plaster wainscotting lines the large bathroom with its variegated brick floor and separate water closet. A large, open custom rose glass tile shower area provides you with two rain showers, bench and an additional hand held shower. A cast-iron clawfoot slipper tub is set in front of a garden window with a view of the unique water fountain and pond, with water lilies and Koi fish.

With freshly picked herbs from your garden, and using the provided the mortar and pestle, you can release the fragrance of fresh herbs into your bath water. For total seclusion, simply roll close the sliding barn door, with its full length mirror, and soak away in tropical bliss.

The Beach House is fully serviced by Anse Chastanet Resort, with twice daily housekeeping service. The suite is 1600 sf inclusive of a 450 sf covered patio and is fully air-conditioned. In suite amenities include fridge, espresso/coffee maker, in-room safe, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, Molton Brown amenities, telephone, and free wi-fi.

Guests are treated as resident guests of Anse Chastanet, with access to Anse Chastanet’s 600 acre estate. Anse Chastanet Resort facilities include two soft sand beaches bordering pristine reefs, 12 miles of jungle biking, walking and hiking trails in the Anse Mamin valley with excellent birdwatching options, 3 restaurant locations serving a variety of menus including modern Caribbbean, East India-St. Lucia fusion and vegetarian.

There are 3 bars including the Jungle Grill and Bar at Anse Mamin, an excursions and car rental desk, 2 beachside boutiques and art gallery, the Kai Belté Spa, Scuba St. Lucia, a watersports center with complimentary snorkeling gear, windsurfers, sunfish sailboats, paddleboards, Bike St.Lucia with bike rental, Kayak St. Lucia with complimentary sit on top kayaks and Prijon kayaks at a rental fee.
